Welcome to the Foster Family's Website
It's been nearly 2 decades since the last update, so kind of a lot has happened since then.

This site was originally set up in order to tell the world (or whoever is reading this) about Buckhart's existence. Buckhart gets little fame with it not actually being a real town. Sure, it has its very own Tavern, Sand & Gravel, and Shooting Range that many people travel to quite frequently, but it misses the national hype. But that's not really what Buckhart means to us.
December 7, 1998 is what we refer to us Buckhart Day. It was the official day of moving into the fantastic log cabin that Doug and Janet Foster had built by Jeff Fore, and which expanded over the years into what affectionately was referred to as "The Buckhart Compound." It was our home for nearly 2 decades. We had lots of great memories there.
Sadly, Doug and Janet had to downsize and leave the beloved Buckhart Cabin in 2015. It was nearly 20 years of love and fun, but as the elder statesman, Doug, approached his sunset years, the move was necessary. It is but a beloved memory. Since Doug's passing in 2020 (no, it wasn't that dumb virus), we reminisce on Buckhart Day (December 7th) as we always have, but now with teary eyes, as we think of the great time we had with Doug. Of course, every day is a difficult day for Janet, as she is apart from her knight-in-well, hole-y jeans and worn out shoes as he liked, but she looks forward to eventually being with him in eternity..
The Foster children (as they are humorously called) left the homestead to seek wealth and treasure, and while they didn't find it in gold or cold-hard cash, they found it in the loves of their lives. Cory married Ashlee, and Alex married Viktoriia. And they both have kids: Piper and Ryker (or Pyker for short) are the elder brother's spawn (as he refers to them), and Vladik, Zoe, and Vera are the younger brother's goats (there's a reason a young goat is called a kid).
