The following history was compiled by Ivan Foster, who started it in 1927 and updated it until his death in 1965. It was updated by his younger brother, George, in 1980. George's wife, Wilma, added to the collection of history in 1991 and 1997.
There should hopefully be another update sometime in this new millennium. This update will hopefully be done by Wilma Foster, Doug Foster (her son), and the author of these pages, Alex Foster (Doug's son). That was the plan, though sadly Wilma and Doug are no longer with us.

In the summer, June 2001, I, Alex Foster, was able to go to Arlington National Cemetery and to visit my Great Uncle Ivan's grave. As far as my knowledge goes, I am the first of my family to see it. I went on an eighth grade class trip to Washington D.C., and on one of the days of the trip, we traveled to Arlington.
My seventh grade social studies teacher, Mr. Ryan Tusek, went with me to find the grave and took the picture of me beside it. Remembering from the Family History, I inquired about Ivan's son's grave, but for whatever reason, his name was not on file with them. The map that we used to find Ivan's grave is shown below.

In the summer, June 2001, I, Alex Foster, took an eighth grade class trip to Washington, D.C. We saw the White House, though not inside of it, Mount Vernon (home of George Washington), Arlington National Cemetery, and many other sites. The most interesting for me was Arlington because of my great uncle being buried there.
Here are some old photos we've dug up from the archives of the Fosters, Family, and Friends that you may enjoy. Perhaps later, we can share more up-to-date photos, but these are fun for now.
The Buckhart Blues Band formed around April of 2003 as a combo, playing at Rochester High School's Jazz Night. The group at that time was Erik Carlson on drums, Jonathan Damery on bass, Alex Foster on sax, Eric Leach on piano, and Mike Presney on guitar.
Later on, they had a gig at the Richard Wolff Memorial Golf Outing out at Lincoln Greens Golf Course. Jonathan Damery had quit the band by then, so Mike took up the bass, and Alex took up the guitar along with the sax, and he asked his brother, Cory, to fill in on guitar. The band played for that outing, and that was the last we heard from them.
